A peony rose is a love letter written in petals - lush, ruffled, and quietly opulent. Often referring either to the fleeting beauty of a true peony or to an English-style garden rose bred in its likeness, it is cherished for its generous, many-layered blooms and soft, rounded form.
Opening in cupped or rosette shapes, its colours drift from blush and cream to coral, burgundy, and ivory, each carrying a gentle, sometimes intoxicating fragrance - powdery, fresh, or classically rosy.
Blooming briefly yet spectacularly in spring and early summer, or lingering through the seasons in rose form, the peony rose has long symbolised romance, prosperity, grace, and feminine beauty, making it a timeless presence in gardens and floral design
